FALL IN LOVE

FALL IN LOVE

Saxaphones crooning
Windchimes tingling
my love is breezing through
and falling on you

Fall, fAll, faLLing
like the leaves
never rushing or torrential
dancing tranquil
love notes flutter
crimson passion
indulging chocolate
pumpkin pie
merlot magic
honey mustard
cinnamon spice
soothing sage
swirling round you
haunting hints
my love is for you
calling for you
in zenful whispers

We planted
cultivated friendship
Now we harvest
a charmed romance

The chill makes you chill
reaching for my arms of fluffy fleece
to wrap around you in warm embrace
You drink my kisses of vanilla chai
sweet and spicy
my warmth enters you
fills you
and slips you
into blissful slumber

Smoking bonfire embers,
gently wake you
basking in the radiance
of my love
Go on and roast your marshmallows
sip your cocoa
tell your stories
of the magic and the mystery of my love
I'm in no rush,
though I'm Fall, fAll, faLLing on you
Like all good things
I'm passing on
'til I'm all gone

In my absence
your bones shiver
and you wonder
of the fable of my
love legendary
all yours and with you
for just a season
now it's Winter
